The Batman 2 Has Already Avoided The Dark Knight"s Biggest Problem

The Batman - Part II is already confirmed to avoid The Dark Knight's biggest problem. 2022's The Batman brought to life many aspects of the Batman comics that had not been touched to great extents in the character's live-action appearances. The movie focused on Batman's detective side, one of the character's most important traits. As that aspect had not really been explored in live-action, Reeves was terrified of the reception to The Batman's detective story.
In the end, The Batman's detective storyline proved itself one of the movie's highlights. The Batman was released to overwhelming praise, with the film's success allowing Reeves to expand his pocket DC universe. The Batman's universe will now exist under DC's Elseworlds label, as revealed by James Gunn. That means Reeves can continue to develop projects in The Batman universe without affecting the new DC Universe's canon. Those projects include The Penguin series, as well as The Batman 2. The Batman 2's story does not have many details revealed yet; however, the film is confirmed to avoid The Dark Knight's biggest problem.
