The Multiverse Saga Complicates Scarlet Witch Being Snapped In Infinity War

The Scarlet Witch's significance in the Multiverse Saga complicates her getting snapped by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. One of the final heroes to face the Mad Titan before he killed Vision and collected the final Infinity Stone, Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) was erased from existence along with half of all living beings in the entire universe. While she was brought back thanks to the events of Avengers: Endgame and a desperate time-travel mission, her status as a nexus being makes her first death in the MCU somewhat confusing (as temporary as it was).
Mirroring the original comics, Wanda was confirmed to be a nexus being in the MCU's WandaVision series. A powerful node of rare chaos magic known as the mythical Scarlet Witch, it was revealed that Wanda is capable of spontaneous creation. Likewise, the subsequent Loki series confirmed there are moments known as "nexus events" which can create branches in the timeline, leading to the birth of new realities in the multiverse. As such, the actions of nexus beings in the MCU are believed to be critical to the multiverse as well. However, this concept complicates Infinity War as well as the MCU's future when it comes to Wanda.
