New Marvel Cinematic Universe fan art sees Miles Morales and Tom Holland's Peter Parker taking on Kingpin for Spider-Man 4. The expectations are higher than ever for Holland's MCU hero, as Spider-Man: No Way Home set a high bar for Spider-Man 4, which is intended to be the start of a potential sequel trilogy. With Peter now on his own in a world that doesn't know he exists, Spider-Man 4 is a new beginning for him, as he has to rely on himself without the ties to friends and family he had previously relied on.
While Spider-Man 4 movie updates have been limited, the world is still speculating what the direction will be for Holland's next MCU film. In the meantime, Chetan.Creates has pitched their version of Spider-Man 4, with Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin serving as the main antagonist.
Titled Spider-Man: Homeworlds, Holland's web-slinger is imagined as teaming up with Miles, with the two web-crawlers facing Kingpin together. The MCU version of Miles also pays tribute to the animated version from the Spider-Verse movies, with his initial gear up from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Related Kingpin’s Complete MCU Timeline Explained Vincent D'Onofrio returned as Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. Kingpin, in Marvel Studios' Echo, exploring the supervillain's backstory and future in more detail. Why Kingpin Should Be In Spider-Man 4 Close As Kingpin recently returned to the MCU through the Echo TV show, his latest appearance served as a solid reminder of how great of a villain he is in the franchise. With Wilson set to have a major role in Daredevil: Born Again, it is also high time for Kingpin to appear in the movies. Spider-Man 4 is the perfect destination for such an event, as not only has D'Onofrio expressed interest in his character fighting Spider-Man, but Peter's new direction could actually line up with Kingpin's trajectory.
With Holland's Spider-Man - alongside Charlie Cox's Daredevil - set to be the front faces of the street-level heroes in the MCU, Spider-Man 4 will likely be more grounded compared to Peter's first trilogy. If Kingpin is indeed starting his mayoral campaign in New York, it will certainly affect Spider-Man if they end up going in a similar direction as the Marvel arc Devil's Reign. The Daredevil: Born Again TV show could, in fact, lead right into Spider-Man 4, with Kingpin serving as the primary antagonist for both presumably New York city-based stories.
There is still no director attached to Spider-Man 4, despite Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios actively developing the movie.
Given how much focus Kingpin is getting in the MCU, it wouldn't be shocking at all if Daredevil: Born Again will pave the way for him to be the main villain in Spider-Man 4. Time will tell what the future holds once D'Onofrio has completed work on Daredevil: Born Again season 1, as Spider-Man 4 is currently not set to start production anytime soon. Hopefully, Marvel Studios is considering Kingpin as the main threat in Spider-Man 4, as it would finally see Peter get to take on Wilson in live-action for the first time.
