Creature Commandos Stars Sean Gunn & Zoë Chao Tease Season 1 Arcs And Introduce The DCU"s Newest Motley Crew

As James Gunn"s DC Universe gets ready to come to life this fall, Creature Commandos actors Sean Gunn and Zoë Chao share their experiences taking part in the first project from the reboot. While Superman (featuring David Corenswet as the next big-screen Man of Steel) will take flight in 2025, the DC Universe"s Chapter 1: "Gods and Monsters" movies and TV shows slate is getting an early start on the small screen. Gunn is an expert at elevating lesser-known comic book characters, and the Creature Commandos characters will be the next group of players to get a spotlight in front of the general audience.
The Creature Commandos story sees Amanda Waller craft a new team of incarcerated individuals after her activities with Task Force X got exposed to the world. Since she can no longer use humans to carry out government missions, Waller is instead relying on actual monsters to carry out her special assignment, led by Rick Flag Sr. Gunn wrote all seven episodes, and Creature Commandos is set to air on Max from December 5 to early January 2025.
