Scarlet Witch"s MCU death came in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in 2022, yet many held out hope it was a fakeout. These theories were only strengthened by the time of Agatha All Along"s ending in 2024, with Wanda Maximoff"s fate continually being thrown into doubt.
As such, audiences are keeping a close eye on upcoming MCU movies to see whether the hints at Wanda"s return hold any credence. Given his role as Marvel Studios" President and, as such, one of the key creative overseers of the MCU, Feige is regularly faced with many questions about the franchise"s inner workings. This continues with Kevin Feige"s comments about the Scarlet Witch, which he made in an interview with the Brazilian entertainment outlet, Omelete:

"We had Agatha All Along on Disney+ just now, and that series was great for us. Since then, many questions have remained in fans" minds about Wanda... So, all I can say is we are excited to find out when and how Scarlet Witch can return."

These comments are certainly interesting, primarily due to the way Feige phrases things. Rather than cryptically state that Wanda"s fate is unclear or reiterate the fact that she is dead, Feige almost outright confirms that the character will come back. In stating that he is excited to see when and how she can return, Feige essentially confirms the long-running theories. This comes after Agatha All Along too, which already hinted Wanda may not be dead by providing yet another way characters can live on after death in the form of ghosts.
The MCU Has Two Perfect Excuses To Bring Scarlet Witch Back Soon Close In light of Feige"s comments, it is worth exploring the ways Scarlet Witch could come back to the MCU sooner rather than later. The first, and most obvious, option is the multiverse. While WandaVision"s ending confirmed that there is only one Scarlet Witch in the multiverse, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness revealed that there are infinite Wanda Maximoffs. This could allow Elizabeth Olsen to return to the role without being the infinitely powerful version of Earth-616.

Another possibility is the introduction of Agatha All Along"s Billy Maximoff. After seemingly being lost to the void after Wanda"s Hex broke down in WandaVision, Agatha All Along revealed that the soul of Billy Maximoff was reincarnated, complete with his mother"s reality-altering chaos magic. Billy"s journeys in the MCU could prove an excuse to bring Scarlet Witch back if only to explore the fractured relationship between the two.

Agatha All Along made it clear that Billy was only concerned with finding Scarlet Wtich"s other son - Tommy Maximoff. Billy made his distaste for Wanda clear in the show, meaning a lot of dramatic potential could be found in her return and their subsequent reunion. With Billy possessing her powers too, there are many ways the MCU could tie those into Scarlet Witch"s resurrection, given that chaos magic is capable of creating life.
Waiting Too Long To Bring The MCU's Scarlet Witch Back Could Sabotage Her Story The MCU Needs To Bring Wanda Back Soon

Above all else, Feige"s comments prove that the MCU needs to waste no time in bringing Scarlet Witch back. The franchise needs to strike while the iron is hot, so to speak; many fans are still talking about Wanda"s past journey in the MCU and theorizing how she could come back, despite her officially dying almost three years ago. Clearly, the interest is still there from audiences in regard to the Scarlet Witch"s story, and bringing her back too late would risk damaging her overall arc.
Bringing Wanda back around the same time as the MCU"s X-Men movie could also be a potential storyline, given that Wanda is heavily tied to the mutant Magneto in Marvel Comics.
After all, the MCU still has to resolve the important ways Wanda is tied to the Multiverse Saga. WandaVision"s prophecy in the Darkhold made it seem as though the Scarlet Witch was integral to the future of the franchise, a plot point that many expected to be raised once more in Avengers: Doomsday"s story and that of its sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars. With that in mind, the Marvel Cinematic Universe would be better off bringing back Wanda before then, completing the Scarlet Witch"s story before it becomes too late to do so satisfyingly.
