David Corenswet’s Superman Suit Reveal Looks Way Better With Krypto & The Kent Farm

Summary
  • Popular editor Julian Bell reimagines Superman suiting up on the Kent Farm, with Krypto the Super Dog beside him.
  • No additional set photos have been released, leaving fans to wait anxiously for another glimpse of Corenswet's suit.
  • Mixed responses to the first look at the new Superman suit include criticism of the battle-worn appearance and collar design.
A DC Universe art edit retools the initial reveal for David Corenswet's Superman costume by changing the setting to the Kent Farm. As multiple Chapter 1, "Gods and Monsters" movies and TV shows are in the works, the first film that will properly kick off the new DC Universe is James Gunn's Superman. Filming on the new reboot kicked off back in late February and is expected to be done by the summer.
Following Gunn's reveal of Corenswet in the Superman costume, no additional looks of the suit have been revealed through set photos as the movie is still shooting. As the world waits for another look, popular editor and digital artist Julian Bell shared a different take on the Superman suit reveal.
Instead of having a major attack behind the Man of Steel, Bell changed the setting to have Superman suiting up at the Kent Farm, with Krypto the Super Dog sitting next to him. Bell also retooled the image to have Corenswet's DC Universe suit cleaner, as the original photo showed signs of it having gone through a battle.
