Marvel Delays 6 MCU Movies: Avengers 5 & 6, Fantastic Four & More Release Date Changes

Marvel Studios' Multiverse Saga is going to run a bit longer than planned, as several Marvel Cinematic Universe movies in Phases 5 and 6 have gotten new dates. Phase 5 finally kicked off this year as the MCU is getting deeper into the concept of the multiverse and variants. With several movies and shows currently fleshing out The Multiverse Saga, things are now starting to look a lot different for Marvel Studios' current plans.
Per a Disney scheduling update, Captain America: Brave New World has been pushed from May 3, 2024 to July 24. Thunderbolts changed from July 26, 2024, to December 20, 2024. The Phase 6 projects that have been affected are the MCU's Fantastic Four reboot, moving from February 14, 2025, to May 2; Blade, pushed from September 6, 2024 to February 14, 2025; and the next two Avengers movies. Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is delayed to May 1, 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars is now slated for May 7, 2027. Conversely, Deadpool 3 will come out five months earlier than expected, moving from November 8, 2024, to May 3.
