Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow art brings to life one of the Girl of Steel's most popular comic book covers in live-action with Milly Alcock in the DC Universe. As Superman is getting reimagined for Gunn's DC Universe, DC Studios is also working on bringing Supergirl back for the big screen. Earlier this year, Alcock landed the titular role in the upcoming Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow movie, with Craig Gillespie set to direct the heroine's solo film, which was penned by Ana Nogueira.
According to recent reports, Supergirl. Woman of Tomorrow is looking to start shooting later this year, as the film is set to release in June 2026. As the world waits for new details on Alcock's DC Universe film, Jobhutz shared new artwork of the House of the Dragon actress as the Girl of Steel.
Jobhutz's Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow concept poster is a direct adaptation and homage to the cover of Kara's DC Comics series of the same name, which was written by Tom King, with art by Bilquis Evely. The specific cover that is being used is Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow #1, which was released on June 15, 2021.
