One of the new stars of the DC Universe - who will also be in the Superman movie - teases an upcoming crucial storyline in the franchise which looks to be key for Peacemaker season 2. A new era of DC is coming out of Warner Bros. Discovery, with James Gunn and Peter Safran leading the new DC Universe, which will start with Chapter 1, "Gods and Monsters." While the DCU is a reboot, one DCEU property will move over to the DC Universe, as Peacemaker season 2 is currently in production to be part of the new cinematic world.
While no premiere date has been set yet for Peacemaker season 2, it is expected to come out sometime after the Superman movie, which flies into theaters in 2025. One of the stars of the film is Frank Grillo, who is joining the DC Universe as Rick Flag Sr., and recently shared a new video (via DCVerso) to give an update on his filming process.
Grillo, while showing off his impressive physique, also declares that he has a bone to pick with John Cena's character, alluding to the pair having a confrontation in the Peacemaker season 2 story. Flag Sr. will make his DC Universe debut in the Creature Commandos TV show, serving as the first animated outing for the DC Universe, before showing up in Superman as his live-action counterpart.
