The 10 Most Likely Candidates For Teen"s Identity In Agatha All Along

Agatha All Along has kept Teen’s identity a secret, but there are several likely candidates from Marvel who would link back to Agatha’s past and the MCU timeline. Agatha All Along follows on from WandaVision as Agatha Harkness breaks free from her imprisonment by the Scarlet Witch and attempts to regain her powers. One of the show"s key mysteries is the identity of "Teen” but Agatha’s history with magic and dark forces suggests that Teen may have deep ties to the supernatural side of the Marvel Universe.
In Agatha All Along, Teen’s identity is kept hidden behind a magical sigil, which prevents him from revealing his name or speaking about his past. This magical barrier adds a layer of intrigue, as whoever cast the sigil clearly has a vested interest in keeping his true nature a secret. Whether this is to protect him or to prevent others from learning about his dangerous potential remains unclear. More pertinently, it’s possible that Teen placed the sigil on himself as part of a larger plan to confront Agatha.
10 Wiccan Is Highly Rumored Wiccan Is One Of Wanda's Sons Close One of the most popular theories circulating about Teen’s identity is that he could be Wiccan, aka Billy Kaplan, one of Wanda Maximoff’s children. Wiccan has a long history in Marvel Comics, often portrayed as an extremely powerful magic user, with abilities that rival those of his mother. Given that Agatha All Along is a direct spin-off from WandaVision, where Scarlet Witch"s children played a pivotal role, it"s natural to suspect that Wiccan might be reintroduced in this show.
In WandaVision, the fate of Wanda"s children was left ambiguous, but many have speculated that they could return as part of the Young Avengers. If Wiccan is Teen, the sigil masking his identity could be a way to prevent Agatha or others from realizing his connection to Wanda. This would also explain Teen’s knowledge of magical processes, as he potentially investigates what happened to his mother and Agatha’s role in this.
9 Speed Is Less Likely But Possible Speed Is Another Of Wanda's Sons Close Another potential candidate for Teen"s identity is Speed, aka Tommy Shepherd, the twin brother of Wiccan. Like his brother, Speed is one of the Scarlet Witch"s children and possesses superhuman abilities. While Wiccan inherited his mother’s magical talents, Speed gained powers similar to Quicksilver, Wanda"s brother, giving him super speed.
Although Speed is less likely than Wiccan to be Teen, there is still a possibility that Marvel could surprise audiences by reintroducing Tommy in Agatha All Along The sigil hiding his identity could have been placed by his brother Wiccan and might also be an attempt to suppress his powers, which could reveal his identity. Speed’s inclusion would add an interesting dynamic, particularly if the brothers" reunion is central to the storyline. Though less likely, Speed would have similar motivations as Wiccan following WandaVision and has similarly been established in the MCU multiverse.
8 Nicholas Scratch Would Be The Most Appropriate Villain Nicholas Scratch Is Agatha's Son Close Nicholas Scratch is an obvious and highly appropriate candidate for Teen"s identity in Agatha All Along, especially considering his deep ties to Agatha Harkness in the comics. Scratch is Agatha’s son and a powerful warlock with villainous tendencies. He has repeatedly clashed with his mother over their differing views on magic, with Scratch often siding with darker forces. If Scratch is Teen, the sigil hiding his identity could be somebody"s, or his own, attempt to suppress his dark powers or hide his survival from Agatha.
Scratch’s introduction would make a lot of sense, especially if Marvel plans to explore Agatha’s past more deeply. It was suggested in Agatha All Along that Agatha sacrificed her son to acquire the Darkhold. Scratch could be seeking revenge against his mother, bringing personal stakes to Agatha’s journey. There have been numerous hints to Scratch throughout Agatha All Along, though this could be MCU misdirects.
7 Blackheart Has Been Teased Blackheart Is Mephistos Son Close Blackheart, the demonic son of Mephisto, has been teased early on in Agatha All Along, suggesting that he could be Teen. Blackheart is a terrifyingly powerful villain with the ability to manipulate dark magic and influence the minds of others. This would fit with some of the events in Agatha All Along, with Teen potentially being a slightly younger rendition of the fearsome villain.
In Agatha All Along episode 2, “Black Heart” is on the list of names Agatha was given to form her coven. Instead, Agatha opts to recruit Sharon Davis, who is referred to throughout as Mrs Hart. Agatha was clearly wary to include the familiar name, but as Teen is a part of Agatha’s coven, Blackheart might already be present. If Blackheart is Teen, the sigil that masks his identity could be a way to suppress his possible motivations, working under the guidance of his hellish father.
6 Kid Blackheart Is Marvel's Antichrist AKA Anton Satan Close A variation of the Blackheart theory is that Teen could be a younger, more human version of the character - often referred to as Kid Blackheart. In the comics, Kid Blackheart, also known as Anton Satan, has no real affiliation with his namesake until later on, and was conceived by a Satanic cult seeking an antichrist to bring about Armageddon. He is later sent to his “father,” which opens up possibilities for his appearance in Agatha All Along.
If the villain of the series is revealed as Blackheart himself, Kid Blackheart could be his convoy to observe the coven. If Kid Blackheart is Teen, his identity might be hidden to prevent others, or perhaps even himself, from realizing his dark potential and embracing his role as the Marvel Universe"s equivalent of the Antichrist. This would be ideal for Agatha All Along’s foray into the horror genre.
5 One Of The Salems Seven Could Connect To Agatha's Past The Salem Seven Are Nicholas Scratch's Children Close One of the Salem Seven, a group of magical beings connected to Agatha Harkness in the comics, is another possibility for Teen’s identity. In the comics, the team are each the children of Nicholas Scratch, who often serve his villainous agenda. A group presumed to be the Salem Seven appeared in Agatha All Along episode 2, as the hooded figure who attacked the coven before they were transported to the road.
This does bolster the Nicholas Scratch theory, though this could be an illusion intended to hide Teen’s identity further. Teen was the only real character to observe the Seven, and only one of them, Vertigo, was centered in any meaningful manner. Revealing Teen as Agatha’s grandchild would be incredibly appropriate for the themes of generational magic, with Teen perhaps working at his father’s behest.
4 Mephisto Has Been Long Awaited In the MCU Mephisto Is Marvel's Devil Close For years, many have speculated about the possible introduction of Mephisto, the infamous devil-like figure in Marvel Comics. Mephisto has long been associated with characters like Ghost Rider, Doctor Strange, and Scarlet Witch. He is known for his ability to manipulate reality, trap souls, and strike devilish bargains. If Teen is somehow connected to Mephisto - whether as a creation of his, or even Mephisto himself in disguise - this could explain why his identity has been masked.
The sigil preventing Teen from revealing his past could be a protective measure against Mephisto"s influence. It could also have been placed by Mephisto himself to mask himself from the coven as they walk the road. Though less likely than some other candidates, it’s certainly possible. If Mephisto is introduced in Agatha All Along, it would mark a significant development in the MCU"s exploration of the supernatural, potentially leading to a larger conflict with dark forces.
3 Daimon Hellstrom Is The Son Of Satan Hellstrom IS A Dynamic Marvel Demon Hunter Close Daimon Hellstrom, also known as the Son of Satan, is another strong candidate for Teen’s identity. Daimon is the son of a human woman and a powerful demon (often implied to be Mephisto), making him a half-human, half-demon hybrid. As a result, he possesses a range of supernatural abilities, including the power to summon hellfire, exorcise demons, and manipulate magic.
If Teen is Daimon, the sigil preventing him from revealing his name could be a way to hide his demonic lineage and prevent others from discovering his connection to hellish forces. Daimon’s introduction into Agatha All Along would bring a darker, more supernatural element to the series, aligning well with the show’s themes of magic and the occult. Additionally, Daimon’s character could provide a fascinating counterpoint to Agatha, as both characters straddle the line between good and evil, making for an intriguing dynamic.
2 Master Pandemonium Has A Scarlet Witch Connection Master Pandemonium Was Partly Created Out Of Wiccan And Speed Close Master Pandemonium, a lesser-known Marvel villain, has a strange and eerie connection to Scarlet Witch and her children in the comics, creating a possible connection to WandaVision and the Wiccan/Speed theory. Master Pandemonium is a sorcerer who lost his soul to demons and was given the ability to summon demonic forces. Notably, in one storyline, it was revealed that pieces of his missing soul were used to create Scarlet Witch’s children, Wiccan and Speed.
This bizarre twist has made him a significant, if somewhat obscure, antagonist in Marvel’s magical lore. If Master Pandemonium is Teen, the sigil could be suppressing his connection to dark magic and his potential link to Wanda Maximoff"s family. His introduction would deepen the ties between Agatha All Along and WandaVision, especially if the show continues to explore the aftermath of Scarlet Witch’s actions.
1 Nightmare Would Explain The Horrific Visions Nightmare Can Conjure Dreams Close Nightmare, a villain with the ability to manipulate dreams and create horrific visions, is the rule of the Dream Dimension in Marvel Comics. Nightmare and often traps heroes in terrifying scenarios within their own minds. In Agatha All Along, his ability to warp reality through dreams could explain some of the strange and unsettling visions that have beset the coven on their journey.
Intriguingly, Teen has not been subject to these villains, often explained as not being a proper part of Agatha Harkness"s witch coven. However, this could be explained by Teen being the one who is conjuring them. Nightmare would be perfect for the show’s exploration of fear and the dark side of Marvel. This could also connect to the illusion spell that Wanda created in WandaVision, and explain how Teen was able to break Agatha free from it in Agatha All Along.
