One Star Wars Easter egg of The Mandalorian could be subtly hinting at the tragic fate of Pedro Pascal's Din Djarin. The titular character of The Mandalorian has quickly become a favorite among viewers since the Star Wars Disney+ TV show's debut in 2019. As the adoptive father and Mandalorian mentor of the adorable Grogu and a secret agent of the New Republic, Din's role in the galaxy has only become increasingly important in the wake of The Mandalorian season 3's ending. With The Mandalorian season 4 and Dave Filoni's The Mandalorian-era movie just around the corner, there's no doubt Din will further cement himself into Star Wars history.
There is, however, a somewhat daunting future for his character, as well. Given the long lifespan of Grogu's species and Din's typical human one, a life for Grogu without Din is inevitable, just as Luke Skywalker has already warned Grogu about - but when exactly Grogu has to start living without his father is still unknown. Viewers have predicted Din meeting his fate time and time again at the conclusion of every The Mandalorian season finale, particularly in season 3 when he's captured by Moff Gideon. Ironically enough, Din is also the Star Wars character who has perhaps come the closest to meeting his fate without actually dying the most amount of times, but one Star Wars Easter egg suggests his demise may be sooner than viewers think.

Din Djarin's Mandalorian Helmet Is On Display At Galaxy's Edge... & It's Canon The planet of Batuu as featured in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, the Star Wars-themed land at the Disneyland and Walt Disney World resorts, has an Easter egg of The Mandalorian directly inside one of its merchandise stores. Dok Ondar's Den of Antiquities is the shop known for its impressive display of never-ending Star Wars Easter eggs, and despite the fact this store opened months before The Mandalorian actually premiered, both Din's helmet and his Amban phase-pulse blaster rifle hang on Dok Ondar's wall, just above his own head. They're a perfect tribute to the series and the character, but their presence comes with a cost.
Everything at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is considered to be canon, which is why certain characters have to avoid crossing each other's paths while wandering Black Spire Outpost. This is because the events as seen at Galaxy's Edge occur during the sequel Star Wars trilogy era, between Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker in 34 ABY. In comparison, the events of The Mandalorian begin in 9 ABY, which means that Dok Ondar somehow got his hands on Din's helmet and pulse rifle before the sequel trilogy. This Easter egg would then have to point towards Din somehow either forfeiting his helmet or meeting his tragic fate at some point before 34 ABY.
