Loki Season 2, Episode 4, "Heart of the TVA," recently aired and ended on what is possibly its biggest cliffhanger yet - or at least that would be the case if several spoilers from the Loki trailers didn't already ruin the MCU timeline bombshell. The fourth episode saw Victor Timely team up with the TVA's good guys in their attempt to avoid the catastrophic overload of the Temporal Loom. This culminated in Timely himself volunteering to launch a Throughput Multiplier towards the Temporal Loom, thereby expanding its capacity, before the increased Temporal Radiation outside turned him into Temporal spaghetti.
This culminated in the worst fears of all characters being realized as the Temporal Loom appeared to overload with the protective blast doors being opened, thus exposing them to their impending doom. Thankfully, aside from the fact that there are two more episodes yet to air, their survival at the end of Loki episode 4 is assured thanks to some as-yet-unseen shots that the Loki trailers graciously revealed before the series aired. One of the most prominent parts of the trailers showed the horrific process of Loki time-slipping into different times and locations. Despite taking up much of the trailers' screen time, this particular plot point was rather quickly resolved in the series as O.B. formulated a plan successfully carried out by Mobius and Loki in their first interaction with the Temporal Loom. That is except for the shot that sees Loki time-slip into the parking lot of an aquatics store, which is presumably outside the TVA. This suggests that there is still some potentially more erratic time-slipping for Loki to suffer, meaning he has not perished in the Temporal Loom explosion.
