Grant Gustin Perfectly Recreates The Flash Next To Oliver Queen"s Grave Meme In New Photo

Summary
  • Grant Gustin, star of The Flash, recreates the popular Oliver Queen grave meme with a fan at a convention, bringing the meme back to life.
  • The joke as been a popular ad often-used meme ever since Arrow's final season.
  • Although the Arrowverse has ended on The CW, there is a possibility that it could make a limited comeback in the future, either as a TV event series or through comics. The multiverse concept could also be incorporated.
The Flash star Grant Gustin is adding more popularity to his Oliver Queen grave meme as the DC star recreates it in a new Arrowverse photo with fans. The Arrowverse has become popular for numerous things, from including some of DC's most iconic heroes and villains to becoming one of the most successful TV franchises of all time. But the Arrowverse has also made its root in pop culture outside the television screen through memes, with one particular image having gone viral and becoming one of the most used memes in Internet history.
During the Arrow series finale, The Flash's Gustin shared an image of him posing with Oliver's tombstone as the Arrowverse bid farewell to the Green Arrow. Almost half a decade later, Gustin has now recreated the unforgettable moment as Gary Lizaso posted a photo of them together at the FanX convention where he was cosplaying as Oliver's tombstone with The CW star next to him.
The Arrowverse fan thanked The Flash star for bringing this meme to life once again, calling Gustin a winner for making this happen. Ironically, the person who has had the most issues with this photo is Green Arrow himself, Stephen Amell, who in 2021 told the Internet that "everyone who repurposes this photo kindly f--k off."
