While Ford has been rumored to portray Red Hulk in Captain America: Brave New World for some time, the crew jacket is direct confirmation that the character will indeed play a role in the upcoming MCU movie.
Ford's Thunderbolt Ross becoming Red Hulk had already been teased before by those involved with the movie. The reveal of Ford's pants in a Captain America: Brave New World set photo fueled Red Hulk speculation. In the set photo shared by Mackie, Ford is wearing ripped pants that look remarkably similar to what Bruce Banner's look like after he transforms back from the Hulk into human form. While Ford previously pretended like he did not know about the rumor, saying, "What is the Red Hulk?," it seems like Ross' alter ego will be in the movie.
