Taking inspiration from the Dark Knight's current era of comic books, the artwork puts actor Jake Gyllenhaal in Batman's sleek Rebirth gray-and-black costume. This Batman sports a cape that covers his shoulders, and he appears unmasked, revealing how the mask is completely separate from the cape. See the artwork below:

Gyllenhaal was in the running to play Bruce Wayne in Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins, but ultimately lost the role to Christian Bale. Speaking with Screen Rant, Jake Gyllenhaal expressed his interest in playing Batman, saying "It would be an honor always. Those types of things and those roles are classics." Two decades after being in the shortlist to play the Caped Crusader, Gyllenhaal would still be ready to play the hero on the big screen.
Besides all the fan castings, Jake Gyllenhaal seems like an ideal actor for the DCU's Batman. Gyllehnaal also has experience in the superhero genre, having played Spider-Man's villain Quentin Beck a.k.a. Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home — a drastically different character to Batman.
