One of the big DC Universe characters in James Gunn's first animated property will make their live-action debut in Peacemaker season 2. While Gunn's DC Universe will mostly be a reboot, a few surviving pieces of the DCEU will be included in the new franchise. One of them is the Peacemaker TV show, featuring several returning cast members who were initially part of the DCEU.
With Peacemaker season 2 filming right now at the same time as the Superman movie, the first DC Universe crossover is taking place in the DC Studios TV show. Gunn announced on Instagram that Frank Grillo, who is voicing Rick Flag Sr. in Creature Commandos season 1, will be making his live-action debut in Peacemaker season 2.
It's unclear if Grillo's Rick Sr. will be a series regular in the Peacemaker season 2 cast or a recurring guest star. Unless Gunn clarifies through his Instagram or Threads accounts by fans, time will tell how much viewers will be seeing Rick Sr. in Peacemaker season 2.
