Daredevil: Born Again First Look Footage Reveals Charlie Cox’s New MCU Suit

The first look at Charlie Cox's new Daredevil: Born Again costume has been revealed. The actor led three seasons of Daredevil on Netflix. Now, following his return to the role, Cox will lead one of the most anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe projects — Daredevil: Born Again. The Disney+ series will feature many returning stars from the original Netflix show, with heroes and villains getting new looks. Leading Daredevil: Born Again's cast, Matt Murdock will don an exciting new Daredevil costume.
Marvel Studios shared a video to celebrate Marvel's 85-year birthday, which included a shot of Charlie Cox in a new Daredevil costume from Daredevil: Born Again.
The quick glimpse at the suit comes from a rotating shot. The MCU's new Daredevil costume features glowing red eyes and a solid red color scheme. The suit also has nice textures. It has yet to be revealed if Daredevil: Born Again's story will explain the hero's new suit or if Matt Murdock will simply already have it at the start of the show. How Daredevil's New MCU Suit Compares To His Previous Costumes Matt Murdock Might Wear His Best Daredevil Suit Yet Close Based on what has been shown of the new suit so far, Daredevil: Born Again could bring the best live-action version of the hero's costume to life. Cox has worn five different versions of the Daredevil costume between the three seasons of Netflix's Daredevil and his MCU appearances. In comparison to the Netflix suits, the Daredevil: Born Again costume has the best cowl of the bunch, going for a more simple design that makes the cowl more striking and appealing.
Daredevil's first costume under Marvel Studios is also extremely different from the one he will be wearing in the new series. After playing only Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Cox appeared in two episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law as Daredevil. The hero's suit is the most distinct so far, going for the classic red and yellow color scheme from the comics. Cox's new Daredevil: Born Again superhero suit lets go of that concept for a more traditional red look.
The new suit is more similar to the one Daredevil wore in his Echo cameo than the one in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. In Marvel Studios' first TV-MA series, Daredevil sported a traditional red and black suit. Daredevil's Echo costume had more red in the central area of the suit and bigger chest plates. With the new suit only seen from behind, it is hard to know if that great design choice will be repeated for the hero's nearly all-red suit from Daredevil: Born Again.
Daredevil: Born Again After Charlie Cox's cameo appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home and supporting role in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Daredevil: Born Again gives Matt Murdock his first show set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Daredevil: Born Again, composed of 18 episodes, serves as the spiritual successor to Netflix's three-season Daredevil series and adapts its characters to the MCU's main continuity while establishing a new beginning for the superhero lawyer.
