New Deadpool 3 set photos tease some recognizable Marvel Cinematic Universe Easter eggs as Wade Wilson gets ready to join the franchise. Unlike 2023, 2024 will only have a few Marvel movies released, and when it comes to the MCU, Deadpool 3 will be the only outing for Phase 5. However, Deadpool 3 will be one of the biggest deals in Phase 5 as Ryan Reynolds' X-Men character is returning to the big screen despite the old X-Men cinematic universe being over.
Despite plot details being limited about Deadpool 3, clues have been shared through multiple BTS images and videos. With Deadpool 3 still in production, new set photos (via X-Men Updates) have revealed some familiar items from past MCU movies and TV shows.
The first Deadpool 3 set picture features the cupcake truck that was shown in Moon Knight season 1. The following photo features Red Skull's car that Hugo Weaving's character drove in Captain America: The First Avenger. To this point, no actor has been spotted on Deadpool 3 as Red Skull, leaving his potential presence up in the air.

Every Marvel Movie Crossover Revealed For Deadpool 3 So Far Close Deadpool 3 is, in more ways than one, connecting to various Marvel franchises, with the movie seemingly being another big multiverse exploration. Despite not disclosing her actual involvement, Jennifer Garner's Elektra is set to appear in Deadpool 3, as she reprises the role from her spinoff movie that came out of Ben Affleck's Daredevil film in the early 2000s. Whether or not Daredevil and Elektra will be established as existing on another Earth or being in the same world as the original X-Men movies remains to be seen.
Recent Deadpool 3 set photos also revealed that Sabertooth will be back, and it will specifically be the version that the world saw from the first X-Men movie. What is unclear is whether or not Deadpool 3 will explain if Liev Schreiber's Sabertooth from X-Men: Origins Wolverine will have evolved into the version that is seen in X-Men. However, given that Sabertooth's decapitated head is seen in other photos, Deadpool 3 may only have him in a very small role.
There have also been rumors that the MCU's TVA will be involved in Deadpool 3, but that has yet to be confirmed or denied by Marvel Studios. It wouldn't be shocking if the TVA is what gets Wade into the MCU properly, as it would be an organic way to have them appear after the events of Loki season 2. Hopefully, it won't be too long until the first Deadpool 3 trailer is finally released to shed more light on Wade's trilogy finale.
