Charlie Cox Shares Optimistic Tease About His Daredevil Future In The MCU

At the 2024 Disney Upfront, Cox told Deadline that he intends to stay in the MCU alongside Daredevil: Born Again co-star Vincent D'Onofrio for a long time, saying, "Hopefully we got another ten years in us."
The pair previously teamed up for three seasons of Netflix's Daredevil. Since both returned as Daredevil and Kingpin under Marvel Studios, the two have yet to meet. That will happen soon, as both co-lead Daredevil: Born Again's star-studded cast; however, do not expect to see much of the duo, as Cox said when asked about how many scenes he shared with D'Onofrio, "not many."

Spider-Man 4 story rumors tease a possible adaptation of Marvel Comics' "Devil's Reign," which would see Holland's Spider-Man, Cox's Daredevil, and other street-level MCU heroes hunted by Kingpin and his forces. This would be Cox's first major movie role as Daredevil.
Adding to that, Cox's Daredevil emerges as one of the most likely candidates to join the MCU's new Avengers team in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has talked about how Daredevil and Spider-Man will be the faces of the MCU's street-level corner. With such a prominent role and Cox's character being extremely popular with audiences, Daredevil deserves a spot in the Avengers. From there, the possibilities are endless for future projects he could show up in, becoming an MCU staple after Daredevil: Born Again.
