Daredevil: Born Again is bringing back The Defenders Saga characters, and the show is perfect to include Netflix & Marvel Studios street-level heroes.

Summary
  • Daredevil: Born Again could feature MCU heroes like Ms. Marvel and Kate Bishop to create an entertaining dynamic.
  • White Tiger will debut in the MCU in Daredevil: Born Again
  • She-Hulk and Jessica Jones' chemistry with Matt Murdock makes them great characters for the show.
Daredevil: Born Again is the perfect project to include multiple Marvel Cinematic Universe characters, and there are some perfect heroes who could show up in the series. Charlie Cox is one of the most popular MCU stars, which is understandable, as he led perhaps the best live-action Marvel series in Netflix's Daredevil. With Daredevil: Born Again's story rumored to lead to a major street-level event, the series becomes one of the MCU's most anticipated projects.
Daredevil: Born Again went through a major creative overhaul. The series has added The Punisher writer Dario Scardapane as its showrunner, with actors from Netflix's Daredevil being confirmed for Daredevil: Born Again's cast after the changes made behind the scenes. With nine episodes in season 1, Daredevil: Born Again could add some exciting Netflix and Marvel Studios heroes to help Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock.

10 Ms. Marvel Kamala Khan Could Bring A Fun Dynamic Close She-Hulk: Attorney at Law helped show that Cox's time in the MCU could bring a variety of tones to Daredevil. While Netflix's Daredevil was a darker show, both story-wise and in terms of bloody violence, Daredevil: Born Again will not be just a direct continuation of the series. The MCU show has the bandwidth to present a darker overall story but include an episode or two that diversifies the tone of the series.
Cox showed in the MCU that he can add levity to his Daredevil, with great sarcastic comments that were more or less present in The Defenders Saga. Daredevil: Born Again could continue that by featuring Iman Vellani's Ms. Marvel. As a major fan of superheroes, Kamala Khan being excited to tag along for Daredevil for an episode would bring along a fun dynamic. Besides, since she lives in New Jersey, Kamala is close to the action of the series.
9 Kate Bishop The New Hawkeye And Daredevil Have A Common Enemy Close Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop is one of the best additions to the MCU in the Multiverse Saga. Disney+'s Hawkeye saw Kate hone her skills alongside her superhero inspiration — Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye — and become the second version of the MCU hero. Hawkeye also served as the first Marvel Studios project to feature Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin, with the actor returning as Wilson Fisk in the series close to Cox's Matt Murdock cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Kate Bishop and Kingpin fought in Hawkeye, with the series cementing the MCU villain as a common enemy between Kate and Daredevil. With Steinfeld's return in The Marvels setting her up for more MCU adventures as Kate Bishop, one of those could take place in Daredevil: Born Again. Kate and Matt could team up against Kingpin, revealing that she has possibly kept tabs on him since Hawkeye.

8 Luke Cage The Hero Could Play A Role In Kingpin's Story Close With Netflix's The Defenders Saga canon to the MCU, Daredevil: Born Again season 1 could use its nine episodes to bring back a few major players from the Netflix Marvel series to the MCU. After Luke Cage got canceled when season 2 had made a shocking finale reveal, the character would be one of the best to make an appearance in the upcoming MCU series.
Luke Cage season 2 ended with Mike Colter's character becoming the crime boss of Harlem's Paradise. Daredevil: Born Again could reveal what Luke has been up to since then. If the character remains a hero, his connections could be crucial to helping both Matt Murdock and Daredevil in two different avenues as the hero fights Kingpin, with Wilson Fisk running for Mayor of New York City. If Luke Cage became a villain, he could appear to fund or support Kingpin's campaign.
7 White Tiger A Confirmed Hero For The Series Close White Tiger is a new character for the MCU. The hero will make his debut in Daredevil: Born Again, which has been confirmed through set photos and videos from the upcoming series. Based on the footage revealed from the set of Daredevil: Born Again, the series' White Tiger should be the Hector Ayala version of the character, who will likely play a pivotal role in the MCU series.
While avoiding spoilers, Hector Ayala's role will connect directly to the return of the Punisher in Daredevil: Born Again. The character's debut in the series is exciting, as White Tiger will be yet another new hero to the MCU's street-level side, which has been getting a major push in recent years. Hector Ayala's debut could help bring some interesting Daredevil storylines from the comics to life in the MCU.

6 Hawkeye Daredevil Could Team Up With An Original Avenger Close Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye could appear for an episode or two of Daredevil: Born Again. Like Kate Bishop, Clint Barton acted against Kingpin in the finale of Hawkeye, though he did not get the chance to have a one-on-one fight with the villain. That could be corrected in Daredevil: Born Again. As Kate Bishop could possibly be too busy with the Young Avengers after Ms. Marvel recruited her, Clint could be the one to assist Matt.
Renner's Hawkeye appearing in Daredevil: Born Again would be exciting for a major reason besides just a story explanation. Cox will finally lead a new solo project firmly in the MCU, and having one of the original Avengers be there alongside him would make for a huge moment. While Matt Murdock and the Hulk were present in the same scene, Daredevil: Born Again could go a step above and have the hero fight alongside Hawkeye.
5 Captain America Daredevil Could Join The Avengers Close Sam Wilson could be a major addition to Daredevil: Born Again’s roster. As the new Captain America of the MCU, Sam could be the one to be called upon to help Daredevil and other NYC heroes deal with the Kingpin situation to keep it from getting out of control. It has been confirmed that Harrison Ford’s Thunderbolt Ross will ask Sam Wilson to assemble a new Avengers team in next year’s Captain America: Brave New World.
An appearance from Anthony Mackie’s Captain America in Daredevil: Born Again could connect to that. As Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has revealed that Daredevil and Spider-Man will be the faces of the MCU's street-level corner, it would make sense for the two of them to be in the franchise's premiere team — the Avengers — together, and Captain America could be the one to recruit Daredevil.

4 Moon Knight Two Dark Heroes Could Team Up Close Under the Marvel Knights moniker, Daredevil teamed up with multiple Marvel heroes in the comics. Among those characters was Moon Knight, who has crossed paths with Matt Murdock frequently in the comics but has yet to do so in the MCU. Since Daredevil and Moon Knight are both darker characters, it would be interesting to see how they would bounce off of each other in Daredevil: Born Again.
After the series' creative overhaul, Daredevil: Born Again is expected to delve into the same level of bloody action of the Netflix Daredevil series, or at least get close. As Disney+'s Moon Knight often cut away just as the action was reaching a boiling point, it would be amazing to see Oscar Isaac's Marc Spector fully let loose. Steven Grant's banter with Matt would also make for a great dynamic.

3 She-Hulk Matt Murdock's MCU Flame Close Tatiana Maslany's She-Hulk is the character not from Netflix's The Defenders Saga who would be the must-have for Daredevil: Born Again. Disney+'s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is responsible for Cox's longest screen time since his return as Daredevil. In the series, Matt Murdock and Jennifer Walters teamed up against bad guys and developed a romantic connection over two episodes. While Matt and Jennifer live in different states, she could pop up in New York for an episode or two.
She-Hulk will not be Daredevil's main MCU love interest, as Deborah Ann Woll returns as Karen Page in Daredevil: Born Again, and Margarita Levieva debuts in the show as Heather Glenn, Matt's new girlfriend. However, given how much chemistry Jennifer and Matt had in Cox's She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episodes, it would be great to see her help him fight Fisk in court or as She-Hulk, even as just friends.

2 Jessica Jones Netflix's Other Major Marvel Hero Close One of the most anticipated returns from Netflix Marvel characters is that of Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones. The character was the only one to get three seasons other than Daredevil before Netflix canceled The Defenders Saga shows. While the actress has yet to be confirmed as part of the cast of the upcoming MCU series, Ritter has teased a return as Jessica Jones in the MCU and recently even suggested a makeover is on the way for the hero.
Ritter shared a photo of herself with purple hair. In the comics, Jessica Jones went by the superhero moniker Jewel for a time, and the character sported the same purple hair that Ritter was seen with. A full-on superhero take on Jessica Jones would certainly be a sign of a major shift for the character. With a makeover or not, Jessica's great chemistry with Matt would make her return one of the best possible aspects of Daredevil: Born Again.
1 The Punisher Another Confirmed The Defenders Saga Character Close Finally, Jon Bernthal's Punisher is the most exciting Marvel hero for Daredevil: Born Again. Unlike most of the list, Bernthal is confirmed to reprise his role of Frank Castle, aka the Punisher, in the MCU show. More than that, Bernthal was already spotted filming scenes as the Punisher alongside Cox as Daredevil on the set of Daredevil: Born Again, building up excitement for his MCU return.
Bernthal's Punisher is not fond of Wilson Fisk in the slightest. After fighting Daredevil and eventually teaming up with him, the Punisher would be a formidable friend for Daredevil to have against Kingpin in Daredevil: Born Again. Since Bernthal debuted as Frank Castle in Daredevil season 2, it is only fitting that he returns in Cox's new series. It will be interesting to see how the duo's relationship has evolved between the events of The Defenders Saga and Daredevil: Born Again.
Daredevil: Born Again After Charlie Cox's cameo appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home and supporting role in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Daredevil: Born Again gives Matt Murdock his first show set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Daredevil: Born Again, composed of 18 episodes, serves as the spiritual successor to Netflix's three-season Daredevil series and adapts its characters to the MCU's main continuity while establishing a new beginning for the superhero lawyer.
