Ahsoka Tano inherited one of Anakin Skywalker's craziest tricks pulled in
Star Wars - and it's not spinning. With Anakin taking on Ahsoka as his Padawan during the Clone Wars, it was necessary for the latter to learn how to navigate dangerous situations. Anakin's training took place during a time of peace, but his intense, reckless nature made things for challenging for his master than necessary. Though Ahsoka was far less extreme as a Padawan, she demonstrated a similar tendency to take inadvisable action.
She mellowed over time, but flashes of Anakin's snippy apprentice have always been recurrent in Ahsoka's behavior. This is never more evident than in Ahsoka, which sees her come into contact with Anakin again through the World Between Worlds to learn a final lesson. Following the experience, Ahsoka's mood is notably lighter as she becomes Ahsoka the White, and her journey to the extra-galactic world Peridea sees her pull off a stunt that was once absurdly done by her old master.

As Ahsoka and Huyang arrive at the skirmish on Peridea, they're pursued by Thrawn's fighters. Knowing Sabine and Ezra need help but she can't land, Ahsoka's quick thinking leads to a moment reminiscent of Anakin Skywalker's most absurd trick: She jumps out of the ship mid-flight. It's not a smooth landing for her, as she to roll along the dirt before finally coming to a complete stop, but the feat is impressive, nonetheless. Perhaps more impressive is when Anakin jumped seemingly a mile in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones from a speeder on Coruscant, perfectly timing his collision with Zam Wessel's vehicle.
Ahsoka episode 7 actually telegraphed the parallel in the titular character's first scene, as Ahsoka trains along to Anakin's holo-recording. While lightsaber combat is the main focus, the sequence serves as a reminder that she learned far more from her master than how to fight - even if some of the tricks up her sleeve are crazy. Making use of Anakin's confident instruction was necessary, however, as Ahsoka may not have arrived in time to save her own student had she not jumped out of the vehicle.
