Why General Hux Had A Different View On Clones To His Father
Warning! This article contains SPOILERS for The Mandalorian season 3, episode 7.
The Mandalorian season 3, episode 7 "The Spies" confirmed Brendol Hux's interest in creating clones, which was very different from the view held by his son, General Armitage Hux, in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Although General Hux's First Order stormtroopers were a continuation of the work started by his father, it's now clear that Brendol Hux's early ventures involved an obsession with clones, as Moff Gideon put it. Captain Gilad Pellaeon even revealed that Hux was in charge of something called "Project Necromancer," a title that may imply research into resurrecting Emperor Palpatine or creating Supreme Leader Snoke.
