A subtle detail in
Loki season 2 proves that O.B.'s backstory is far more tragic in the MCU than he's letting on. Full name Ouroboros (Ke Huy Quan), O.B. has already emerged as a breakout star in Loki season 2, though there are a good number of mysteries surrounding the Time Variance Authority's chief engineer of Repairs and Advancement. To that end, a background detail in his department highlights that his hundreds of years working for the TVA have not been very kind.
As seen in Loki season 2's first episode, Agent Mobius (Owen Wilson) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) consult with O.B. about Loki's new temporal affliction known as "time-slipping" where his body is continually jumping to the past, present, and future involuntarily. During their conversation, Loki time-slips into the past and talks with O.B. 400 years prior while Mobius talks to O.B. in the present. To that end, one notable change signifies the true tragedy of O.B.'s life working for the TVA.
