James Gunn sparks DC Universe speculations by sharing a cryptic
Superman post on his social media pages. David Corenswet's Superman movie is currently one of the most highly-anticipated projects from DC Studios, as the Man of Steel is close to being back on the big screen. Even though Superman is not set to release for over a year, DC Universe fans are keeping an active eye on Gunn's social media updates, as the DC Studios co-CEO tends to share teases and cryptic information about the new franchise.
As Gunn's Superman movie is still in production, Corenswet's full costume has yet to be revealed. While the filmmaker isn't showing it anytime soon, Gunn made a post on his Instagram account over the weekend, sharing an image of the Golden Age Superman logo.
While Gunn didn't attach any captions to it, the post did lead to speculation about whether the logo is related to the Superman film somehow, especially as the DC hero going through logo changes during his first movie would make sense on a narrative level. It's also possible that Gunn made the post in light of Superman's 86th anniversary this past week.
