Chris Pratt’s Legendary Star-Lord Gets Awesome Cosmic Fan Poster For MCU Return

Chris Pratt's Star-Lord gets an epic fan poster for his Marvel Cinematic Universe return. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 ended with Star-Lord and the original Guardians disbanding, with Peter Quill naming Rocket Raccoon the new captain of the team, and the MCU's new cosmic team roster debuting in the first of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3's post-credits scenes. Star-Lord went to Earth to meet his grandfather, but at the end of the second post-credits scene, it was revealed that "The Legendary Star-Lord Will Return."
On Instagram, digital artist @agtdesign imagined what that MCU return could look like, with Pratt's Star-Lord getting his first solo project.
Pratt getting a solo MCU movie would certainly be an interesting choice and would offer a nice payoff to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3's ending tease, as would a Disney+ series focused on Star-Lord.
What Is Next For Star-Lord In The MCU?

Peter Quill was but a shell of himself at the start of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, with the character suffering over Gamora's death and the variant version of his loved one disappearing into the MCU. However, from the moment Rocket gets injured, Peter snaps back into reality and shows how much he has evolved throughout his time in the MCU. Star-Lord retains his charismatic nature and sarcastic comments, but he is now an experienced leader and a ruthless fighter.
At the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Peter finally returns to Earth in search of his grandfather, reuniting with him in a very emotional scene. While the character might sit out a few movies to spend some time catching up with his grandpa, Star-Lord's MCU journey is far from over. Star-Lord's future is a question mark at the moment, and while he could go back to become part of Rocket's new Guardians of the Galaxy team, that is likely not where he is headed.
The confirmation that Pratt will return in the future makes his presence in the upcoming two Avengers films — The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars — very likely. He appeared in the last two huge Avengers crossover movies, and Star-Lord's experience would be welcome against a multiverse-wide threat like Kang the Conqueror and the Council of Kangs. Pratt could also get his own movie or Disney+ series based on the Legendary Star-Lord comic, which featured Quill in his own cosmic adventures and in a romance with X-Men member Kitty Pride, who should be introduced in the future. Star-Lord still has a lot of stories to tell in the MCU.
