Ben Affleck's Daredevil gets a major Marvel nod through Jennifer Garner's Elektra costume, as revealed in new Deadpool & Wolverine concept art. Deadpool & Wolverine, which has already become one of the biggest hits of 2024, served not only as a new beginning for Wade Wilson in the MCU but also as a celebration of the Fox-Marvel era. With the many Marvel cameos in Deadpool & Wolverine, players like Wesley Snipes' Blade and Garner's Elektra came into the fold for the big multiverse story.
Jonay Bacallado, who worked on Deadpool & Wolverine as a senior costume illustrator, recently revealed on Instagram a new look at concept art for Garner's Elektra costume. In his detailed post, Bacallado reveals that there is also a big nod to Affleck's version of Daredevil in Elektra's movie design, via the belt on the suit.
According to the Deadpool & Wolverine director, Shawn Levy, they had a list of nearly 70 Marvel characters in consideration, with Affleck's Daredevil being one of them. However, there were never any official attempts to try to get Affleck back for Deadpool & Wolverine.

1 How Jennifer Garner's Elektra Could Still Get Her Full Concept Art Suit Close Given the ending of Deadpool & Wolverine, more stories with Garner's Elektra are within the realm of possibility. It was strongly hinted that Elektra got out of the Void, thanks to the TVA, and was sent back to her universe. With The Multiverse Saga still going on for another Phase, this begs the question of whether or not Garner could not only return as Elektra, but also get the version of her costume with sleeves previously designed for her final look.
The MCU is currently building towards Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, which will more than likely feature the return of many Marvel legacy heroes, which could and should include Garner's version of Elektra. As there are bound to be massive showdowns against Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom, the version of the suit that Garner didn't have in Deadpool & Wolverine could instead be saved for her hypothetical Elektra return. From a story perspective, it could also reflect Elektra's progression as a hero back in her universe after her time in the Void.

8 It's also crucial to remember that Avengers: Secret Wars will likely be the last time many of these actors will be able to play their respective Marvel characters. Since Avengers: Secret Wars will reportedly lead to a soft reboot of the MCU, it may suggest that various universes will collide to become one new reality. Hopefully, if that is the case, Garner's Elektra will ideally be brought back for the big Avengers films in Phase 6 after her successful return in Deadpool & Wolverine.
